Sell Lines

I have designed my sell lines that I would potentially use on the front cover of my magazines. This is the forefront of my magazine that I wish to capture customers attention and inform them on what my articles will be about. The meaning behind these sell lines are:

  • “Effortless outfits in a short space of time” – This sell line allows readers to comprehend the style of I fashion I intent to promote.
  • “Secret to fashion!” – This will intrigue readers to buy my magazine issue in order to read my article where they will discover my tips to autumn fashion.
  • “The buy you need now” – This is used as an enigma code for the audience as they will question what the article features which will interest them into purchasing the issue.
  • “Autumn apparel” – This links in perfectly with my magazine as I will be promoting autumn fashion and my magazine is called ‘Apparel’ which also means clothing.
  • “Your most stylish autumn yet!” – Again, draws readers in to want to find out more information about this topic (Uses and Gratification Theory)
  • “Ten wardrobe essentials you can’t live without” – This sell line is what my article will consist of, ten wardrobe essentials that I believe every female needs in their autumn wardrobe.
  • “The woman in you” – Refers to my potential front cover image with includes my model and a silhouette in front and the metaphor of the woman in you as her face is in the silhouette.
